General Personality:

Open and honest, Olivia (who prefers to be called Livi) makes friends easily. She is creative and interested in fashion design although she admits she doesn't have the personality for it. She has a love of rich fabrics and sews most of her own clothing. Olivia values honestly a great deal and is often disappointed when her friends lie or do not live up to her expectations of them. She has a difficult time with her maternal cousin Claire Marie and avoids her whenever possible.

Abbey's Background:

Olivia's family lives in Aspen, Colorado. She is the middle child with an older brother and a baby brother. She applied to Quinlan because it was expected of her, rather than any driving desire to do so. She's generally content with the idea of becoming involved in magical research and application, and knows that she is a minor disappointment to her parents because of it--they wanted her to study law. They have made it clear to her that they expect less from her than either of her brothers simply because she is a girl. She takes after her father's side of the family in looks & magical ability. She is first cousin to Claire Marie & Theo Chase, and while she gets along well with Theo she can't stand Claire and her constant sniping. Claire often challenges her belief that she is her mother's daughter and not a secret-adoptee.
